Hi everyone! Here's a quick update to let you know what we've been up to since the start of the year. Spring has finally arrived, and with it a lot of incredible gigs all around Scotland!
We started off with a beautiful wedding near the shores of Loch Lomond. The first dance was Beyonce's 'Halo' which is a perfect romantic choice if you're not sure what song to choose. What a fantastic night - the dance floor was never empty! We particularly enjoyed performing Katy Perry's classic 'Firework' just before the guests were invited outside to watch a spectacular fireworks display. Perfect!
Next up, we had a wedding in St Andrews where we got to play in a barn that was done up like something out of a fairytale! Kinkell Byre had an absolutely magical atmosphere. We'd highly recommend it as a venue choice! The first dance was a little more upbeat - 'Shine' by Years and Years. A great choice if you want to dance with your partner for the first bit of the song, but all your friends and family just can't help but join you for a boogie as soon as they can!
Our first birthday party of the year was at the Trades Hall in Glasgow. It's always going to be a cracking gig in this city! We got to try out a few of our newest numbers, such as Adele's 'Hello' - perfect for a slow dance towards the end of the night. We also had a lot of fun making use of the Photobooth! A great addition to any evening, guaranteed to provide hilarious results (as you can see below!).
Our next gig in Edinburgh is at Finnegans Wake on the 28th April at 22:30. Come along to hear some of our newest songs, like 'Sorry' by Justin Bieber and 'Adventure of a Lifetime' by Coldplay, and have a chat to us about your big day! Check out the event page on Facebook here.
We'll also be performing at Music For Scotland's showcase night at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on the 14th June, along with more of Scotland's hardest working wedding bands. Bound to be a great night, and it's by far the best way to ensure that we can reserve your date!
