Gigging down in Lincoln

So the Sleekit Beasties had quite an incredible 2015. It was filled with many gigs, lots of opportunities to meet with you all and of course lots of ceilidhing. On a side note, the Sleekit Beasties are fairly confident that 'ceilidhing' is not technically a word, but we're deciding to use it anyway!

 

At the end of last year (somewhere in those middle days between Christmas and Hogmanay) we all travelled down to play an incredible gig in Lincoln - this hopefully answers a few questions about it the Sleekit Beasties are willing to travel. It was lovely gig, situated right beside Lincoln Cathedral. The proof is in the picture:

It was a brilliant night filled with ceilidh music and pop music left, right and centre. Everybody was up for a dance, and we were even impressed with how quickly they mastered the ceilidh. It was a great night, and a great final gig of 2015 for us as a band.

Also being so far away from home meant we had to stay in Lincoln for the night. And, on an final side note, the Sleekit Beasties love staying in the venues we play in. However, staying in the same venue + an open bar till 1am = an 'interesting' drive home the next day. Let's just leave it at that...
