What made you get into music?
Each member in Cassini has had a strong passion for playing music, leading them into studying music in either Edinburgh or London

What are your hobbies and do they inspire your music?
Aidan, our guitarist, does love all things space which generated our name “Cassini”

What’s the most fun song to play and why?
We do love playing Proud Mary as it’s always a crowd-pleaser and gets the dance floor full.

The most memorable place you’ve performed at and why?
We had the opportunity of performing on the beautiful Fingal, docked in Alexandra Dock, Edinburgh. It was a great experience to play in such a memorable place and the crowd were brilliant too.

What’s your favourite part of a wedding?
We may be biased but we do love the first dance, it’s the part of the day that we feel is the most unique.

What music-related advice would you give anyone looking for a band for a wedding / event?
Make sure to go see your band live before you book them. This is often when you get to really see what you are paying for.

What are your rehearsals generally like?
We do like to have a good laugh at our rehearsals but if there are songs to learn you best believe we will have learned them by the end!

The funniest thing to happen to you at a gig / wedding
Our drummer has witnessed a cake cutting go wrong when the bride decided to lift the cake off the stand resulting it landing in the middle of the dance floor. We wouldn’t recommend that…

Any wedding / party hacks?
We do love a disposable camera for each table. A lot of great moments are captured through them that aren’t always captured when the photographer is around.

Best way to motivate a shy crowd?
Usually, once one person lets their hair down then everyone else will follow. Always good to have the designated dancer sussed for the big day.

When you meet our singer Delphi she will be more than happy to demonstrate for you
