Frequently Asked Questions
How much time do you need for set up & sound Check?
We will arrive just over an hour before we are due to perform. This gives us plenty of time to set up and sound check.
What are your standard performance times?
For weddings we typically perform from 8pm to midnight. This includes a break for the band and any buffets etc.
I’m not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
Absolutely! We can accommodate to most needs and are happy to work with the venue to ensure the evenings schedule is smooth.
Can I pick the songs you’ll play on the night?
We like to keep an eye on the crowd’s reaction to the songs we play and adjust accordingly. We are more than happy to take requests from our set list on the Music for Scotland Website.
Will you learn our first dance?
Definitely! We can learn your first dance with a notice of 6 weeks.
Will the band provide background music during your break?
We can offer background music of your choice and play this through our PA system. If you have a specific playlist in mind, we would love to use this, so let us know!
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
We can extend our performance times if needed but also offer a DJ set for an hour after our performance. This is typically between 12am-1am.
Which artists are you most influenced by?
Our setlists are hugely inspired by pop and funk artists that we feel gives great energy that lasts the whole night!
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more information about this – how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
We can offer a live ceilidh set, we have the full arrangement required for this, including our fiddle player Luke. Our vocalist Natasha can also call the dances for your guests. Our ceilidh sets typically run from 30-45mins but we can extend this if the guests are feeling it!
What do clients love most about your performances?
Clients love that we can keep the crown on the dance floor and moving. As a band we love to perform and believe this shows!
Do you offer any other add-on options?
We are happy to answer any questions or requests anyone may have but a few options we have include: A Live Ceilidh set. Option of a 1hr DJ set at the end of our set. Extended Performance times.
Is all of your equipment (e.g. PA & Lighting) included in your quote?
Yes all of our equipment is included in our initial quote.
Do you have PAT Cert & PLI Insurance?
Our equipment is PAT tested and we have PLI through the Musicians Union. We are happy to provide any documents if requested.
